1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information ScalableAI ("we," "us," "our") collects when you use our AI assistant (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

To improve the Service, including reviewing chat interactions to identify errors or safety issues.
To communicate with you about your account, such as security notices.

4. AI Processing and Third-Party Providers

To generate responses, ScalableAI sends your messages to third-party AI infrastructure providers (for example, Groq for language responses, and Pollinations for image generation). These providers process your input to return a response but do not independently identify you beyond what's included in the request. Their own privacy practices govern how they handle data once received; we recommend reviewing [Groq's / Pollinations' / relevant provider's] privacy policy for details.

5. Anonymous Preview Chat

The free preview chat on our homepage does not require an account. It's associated with a random identifier generated and stored in your browser's local storage, not with your name, email, or any account. This data may still be processed by the AI providers described above to generate a response, and may be retained for abuse-prevention and service-improvement purposes for a limited period.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage (not third-party tracking cookies) to remember things like your anonymous preview identifier, message count, and interface preferences (such as theme). This data stays on your device and is used only to make the Service function correctly.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

The AI infrastructure providers described in Section 4, to the extent necessary to generate a response.
Service providers who help us operate the Service (e.g. hosting), under confidentiality obligations.
Authorities, if required by law or to protect the safety of our users or the public.

8. Data Retention

Account chat history is retained until you delete it or delete your account. Anonymous preview data is retained for [retention period — specify] for abuse-prevention purposes, after which it may be deleted or anonymized further.

9. Your Rights and Choices

You can delete individual chats or your entire account from within the app's settings.
You can clear your browser's local storage to remove your anonymous preview identifier at any time.
